ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER CRIES OVER ATTITUDINAL CHANGE IN THE SANITATION SECTOR

The environmental officer for Afigya kwabre North district in Ashanti region, Mad Stella Gabriel has lamented on the rate at which people don't want change their attitude towards sanitation.

In an interview with offinso based Time 105.3 FM news caster ASONABA on Time midday news, Mad Stella said there have been several times that the sanitation department has embarked on sensitization programs to sanitize the citizens but it yield no result.

Mad Stella again said, most people know very well that it is not good to litter around but they pretend to do because they think zoomlion Ghana is responsible to clean. "instead of burning rubbers and rubbish we won't do it, most people after drinking sachet water dump the rubbers at unapproved area that cause most diseases like malaria, cholera and the others it's all because we don't want to change our attitude that is why the country is dirty", mad Stella Added
