 ASSEMBLY MAN DONATE CHEST FREEZER TO 78YEAR OLD BLIND MAN

The Assembly member for Asem Electoral Area in the Subin Constituency of the Ashanti Region Hon Kwame Kusi Serebour has donated a chest freezer to a 78 year old blind man, Opanin Maxwell Kwabena Sentuo in Asem Kumasi.

Hon Serebour who is a member of Social Service Sub-committee of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly explained that the gesture comes from the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly whereas the procurement of the chest freezer was after screening the 78 year old for his approval.

Hon.Serebour who was touched by the sad story of the blind 78 year old, Opanin Sentuo said the gesture was to make the beneficiary self sufficient , independent and live a dignified live.

" I consulted him before purchasing the chest freezer at least his grand children could sell drinks and water so they can provide a daily mail for him"

Opanin Maxwell Kwabena explained his sad story and thank the Assembly especially the Assembly member Hon.Serebour for finally putting smile on his face..
