BREAKING: Dr. Bawumia Lost His Mother

The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamadou Bawumia has lost his mother today.

Hajia Mariama Bawumia died at age 81 after being hospitalalized few weeks ago. She died two days to her 82nd birthday.

The news got viral on social media when the President of the Land wrote on his Facebook page to sympathize with his second in command.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo wrote:

"On behalf of my wife, Rebecca, my family, the Government, and the people of Ghana, I convey deep sympathies to the Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on the sad loss of his mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia. I pray for strength for him and his family in these very difficult times. May Allah grant her soul eternal rest and the highest level of Jannah".

Ghanians and the New Patriotic Party  and members are in a pensive mood as they console their vice president and brother.
