CONSIDER THE ALOCATION OF LANDS AT VANTAGE POINTS FOR DEVELOPMENTAL PURPOSES- DCE ,AFIGYA KWABRE SOUTH

The District Chief Executive officer for Afigya Kwabre South, Hon. Christian Adu Poku has urged Owners of the Traditional Stool Lands in Ghana, Paramount Chiefs and Chiefs to always locate lands at vantage areas in their communities for future developmental purposes.

The DCE made this request during the official opening ceremony of  MIEZAH COLLEGE OF HEALTH, a new established nursing school in Apagya,  a town in the District.

He added that the President Akuffo Addo led government has the Ghanaian youth at heart and that has influence the initiative of the Agenda 111 to enable job creation opportunities for young men and women who will graduate from any accredited health institution. 

Hon. Adu Poku used the opportunity to plead with the applicants who will  enrolled with Miezah college of health to take their studies seriously in other to benefit from the agenda 111.

 In attendance was Nana Owusu Peprah-Apagya hene, Dr Samuel Yaw  Opoku-Registrar Allied Health Professions Council.

 The Executive Director of the College, Dr. Alexander Kofi Egote in an interview with Obibini said, the reason for establishing the schol in the Afigya Kwabre south District was to make health education accessible to the youth in the area. 

Dr. Egote added that government alone can not provide enough learning colleges,  therefore private health schools with good standings are needed to solve the problem of enadequate health schools in the country.
