OFFINSO: Deteriorated Nsuonten bridge poses threat to motorists and pedestrians
The bridge, which is over the river between Offinso and Nsuontem in the Afigya Kwabre North District is posing danger to the those plying the road
Residents have described the structure as a death trap, and blamed the Afigya Kwabre North District Assembly of failing to repair the bridge.
Part of the bridge have collapsed, putting the lives of residents and other other road users lives in danger.
Residents who live close to the bridge are unhappy about the dangers the bridge poses to road users.
Checks has revealed that the contractor has started working on the bridge to improve it condition. Residentsof the area have erected warning signs to signal first time users of this bridge.
A few meters from the delapilated bridge is a Nsuontam township, and this pose danger to people who have no option but to ply it daily.
