26 Nigerian Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Kasoa

On Tuesday November 10, Deputy Police Commander ACP Amani Oduro and his team stormed Kasoa Millennium City in a search for suspected internet fraudsters.

The police Intelligent unit made a follow up to the call to search three 3 houses in the same area at Kasoa Millennium City where the suspected fraudsters were believed to be staying in a couple of months.

The Police arrested 26 Nigerians with two Ladies, ages between 18 and 35 in the three apartments.

In the course of searching the rooms, the Police retrieved 31 laptops, uncountable mobile phones, confirmed wrapped weed, weed in parcels as well as weed products like tofee and biscuits,  a gun and three 3 matchetes.


The Suspects will be sent to court today for procecution at the Ofankor Circuit Court.

ACP Amani Oduro cautioned landlords and apartment owners to be carefully when renting their apartments to strangers, especially Nigerians to help reduce crime rate in the Kasoa Minucipality.
